vBcart advanced (with licensing enforcement) is currently in use on this site.
A simpler, trimmed down version will be ready this month

Good news is my kid left this morning and I restarted development. It's 99% ready. I am finalizing a couple of other scripts and then hopefully by next week I will be able to knock vbcart down

I will be on the look out (well I have been for weeks!), even bought another one while waiting, but that will be deleted once I get my hands on a copy of vBcart... :D
I bought the bundle and that was worth the money, and your products are certainly worth the asking prices! :)
Just out a matter of interest will vBcart require file edits, or is it just template based only?
Either way, the cash is waiting! :)
BTW, does next week mean this week or the following week? Hopefully, this week! :D

So far there are no files/templates edits
Are you planning to encode your files? That version is ready. It is more expensive and will require you to purchase the ioncube encoder from www.ioncube.com so you could encode them on the fly.

If you are not planning to encode files 89.99
if you want to encode your files 149.99
if you do not know what encoding is, then you don't need that version

To use the encoding function, you need to know php. I will not do your encoding for you.

Actually, I will require the non-encoder version (so, I'll wait). Only because we employ tracking code within compiled files on the server, we use the same technology as MiniClip. I know some of the people over at ioncube.com - they are quite expensive, eventhough I could get a discount personally.
Does the vbcart allow files to be stored outside the web root?
Just wondered for added security. My current script uses encryption on the server so files can only be delivered from the web root through the script, which are decrypted 'on-the-fly' upon download.

You can set the path wherever you want. When the member click on the download link, the folder gets moved to a temp folder, get zipped or tared on the fly, then is delivered to the browser. Then the moved folder is deleted.
Here I use above webroot for added security.

Well, Lionel as soon as you release this vBcart I'll puchase it straight away. My current vBulletin based download script is full of bugs, and another one I purchased is just full of database errors. Teach me for 'jumping-the-gun', I should have just waited for yours to be released.
If its coded anything like the full bundle I purchased from you, then I know its quality I'll be getting. The install was fairly easy, apart from the file edits that were required, and I noticed vBulletin are releasing another update next week...
Looking forward to the release, which I expect is worth every penny! :D

Probably tomorrow or the next 2 days. I've just finished with vBinterviews so now I can focus on the cart. I don't plan to create a separate version for vBcart. I will just disable some features to be available in the Pro version only, such as encoding on the fly.

I welcome your release...
I just went to remove a commercial cart script, and it completely destroyed my database. I had to manually turn off all plugins to get back into my admincp, to disable it - then re-enable all plugins via the config.php!!!
That is one script I wouldn't recommend to anyone - I tried 3 updates in the past few weeks and they all caused issues because everytime an update was released they forgot to add table_prefixes... Anyway, its uninstalled now and all files removed from my server.
Your script will be a 'godsend' not only because I want a decent cart, but also because it will allow me to change portals, and get back to vBa CMPS I might even get that brand-free, once I have it all tweaked, and styled to my own requirements.
Cheers... I'll be checking everyday now for the release! I'll even write a testimonial for it, and your other products; all of which are high quality products that have not given me any trouble. It's not like ioncube is hard to install, probably took me about an hour to install evrything I bought so far.
Thanks...:)

It's quite easy to code a simple CMPS block - all the details are in the manual if I remember correctly, on vbadvanced.com.:)
