VBSlideshow - pull news question

Hey Lionel,

I'm currently using the old 'mark thread as news'' hack from VBA to pull newsthreads out of my forums by iconid. I wanted an easy way for my mods to add newsitems and I didn't want to set up news forums and have duplicate/moved threads etc. Anyways is it possible to change this in VBSlideshow? Since the files are encoded I probably can't do it myself.

I am also using that hack by www.haitiwebs.com (http://www.haitiwebs.com) Very handy. This is how I pull my images :-)
I could do it for you to select by iconid. I could place a separate file where you put the iconid so I read them, or you tell me what it is.

Come to think of it, that will limit you though, for example you will not be able to have categories unless you also set forumids

I don't mind that, I will most likely be using the simple news feature. (keeping it simple ;)) I would be easier for me if you could put it in a seperate (in case I chase the newsicon idea)
