I am now currently running frontpage slideshow from Joomlawork.

1/ they have lack of support
2/ their product sucks way too much queries

So, I am wondering whether or not if your vBslideshow comes with the instruction for folks who are using the frontpage how to remove them?

And how good is your support as well as the installing instruction?

And in what case/condition that you will not support your products?

Will this product compatible with all vB version or will it be upgrade everytime vB upgrades their product? After a year subcripstion end, will we still receive any free upgrade/update to your product (of course, will no longer receive the support.) Or after a year subscription end, we WILL not able to receive any update/upgrade/support at all?

Hi, I was the one who originally developed the Joomla version for fun and posted it at vb.org. He wanted to hire me but I held on. Since I have been using vBslideshow on my other site for a while now, I never bothered looking at the Joomla product again although he mentioned that he did some changes. So I supposed I could help folks remove it since I am familiar with it.

vBslideshow does not add a single query to your pages, yet it can display thousands of images instantly. It is xml driven, displays first slide right away and quietly in the background downloads the others.

Install instructions are as simple as importing a product and uploading some files. Of course, if you want to customize it you can edit the template and change the width. I don't recommend changing the height unless you are confortable with editing the files as well, as everything else is dependent of it. You can also set many options in the admincp.

I have it running on my other site with vb 3.60, so I would guarantee 3.60 and higher. On this site it's 3.68 patch level 2. Unless vbulletin drastically changes the way it handles threads, it should be compatible with future versions.

You can get support as long as you are a customer, but after one year there will be no more access to download area. I don't anticipate any changes so soon unless Adobe drastically changes its flash.

I will not support product if files have been altered without my help.

How good will my support be? I am a firm believer that if I make a customer happy, then he will also make me happy too, with referrals.

Unless using the Products Presentation option, I don't anticipate requests for support to be heavy.

The only product which is a pain to install is vBcaption as that one requires multiple files edits.

P.S. With vBattach, you can display your attachments in showthread as a slideshow :-)

Thanks for answer those questions. Here is another.

Will this product come with feature where we can easily change the size of the slideshow? And how soon can I purchase it?

I'm thinking this vBslideshow will easily intergrate into CMPS right?

Talking about sizes, will this vBslideshow require certain dimenssion of an image in order to display it on the slideshow? What I am trying to ask is that, right now on the frontpage slideshow, if an attachment image has smaller size than what it assigned from the php file, then the slideshow will show the image with other blank/left area (please take a look at http://www.vshares.net and you'll know what I meant)

I'd like to purchase some of the bundle package but the price is kinda high for them. If the price could be lower a bit for each of the product, I certainly will look at at least your vBattach and vBcaption, together with vBslideshow. Or better yet, with the vBmagazine also... but, budget is so tight and since my site has no profitable at the moment.

The size of the slideshow can be changed in the admincp/templates.
Originally vBslideshow was made for vbadvanced and template and instructions are included. Then I decided to also make it independent for folks who do not have vbadvanced... so you get both options.
There are 3 options to display images: full size, fit available area, or resize to fit. Of course if your slideshow is 400x300 and you upload 50x50 images, you will not get much results.
There will be bundle options available.
Hummm I looked at your site. With vBslideshow container do not stretch. Rather the thumbs will have a slider to scroll left or right when too many images are being used.

Believe me I am working day and night to put out those products. vBmagazine needs to be packed. Coming up also: Interactive Interviews where users ask the questions themselved and vBreviews, a review system like amazon.com with more options.

By the way, customers will have access to hidden support forums plus the private helpdesk.

Can vBslide be pulled to be displayed in vBa index.page?

Yes, that's the main idea. The other page was placed for people who would want it independently.
please see my live site for example www.haitiwebs.com

Nice, i was just looking at the download page. Got a question about that though. If i enter the URL there, can i change it again after it? Because for now i wish to use it on my 360 Clan's website, but in like a month or so i want to use it for a gaming community i'm going to start.

In short: Does it work like vBulletin, where you just edit the url and re-download it.

Sorry, once the product ships website name cannot be changed. It is license per website. IP address may change, but not actual domain.

P.S. If you want, I could ship you a fully functional temporary version that will expire after 30 days. And then when you make your decision, I could ship you the final product. If you choose that route, do not enter your URL. PM it to me.

Ok, i will do that, our clan might pay another license if it's a good product. So that would be a good way to test it out (What i was planning on doing (So first using it on our clan site and then switching, and if they liked it we could buy another license)). I'll PM you in a bit.

Thanks :).
