What is the difference.
1) If I buy Herald, I don't need Magazine right?
2) VbMagazine says, it has 12 VB advanced modules? CMPS or Dynamics? I have VBA dynamics but don't like it at all.

CMPS
the difference between vBherald and vBmagazine is simple.
vBherald is dynamic and changes every time you add a new thread.
vBmagazine creates magazine issues and issues are there to stay forever.
I have a lot of customers who have both.
I'm interested in one of these and can't decide which, at the moment i am using "Article Forums" a free mod. The only problem is it has some downfalls which i don't have the knowledge to edit.
The main problem is text wrapping, I installed some bb code to allow me to wrap text around images but then on the article homepage the bb code shows up instead of the image.
Can you recommend between the herald and the mag ?
With the herald bundle you offer caption and attach etc, what happens if you just get the basic pack?
I'm also thinking of paying for the installation because of ioncube, will you install this on my server as part of the installation ?
Each does different things, so what you want to do is asking yourself exactly what you want: Static or dynamic articles? I have both and I use them for different purposes.

Hi,
ioncube needs to be installed by your host. 99% of hosts do.
if you have article mod which changes forumdisplay, I would go with magazine. However, like Stev mentioned, each does a different thing. Keep in mind that vBmagazine articles display only when issue has been published.
Without vBcaption and vBattach, you simply will not have those 2 functionality.
Lionel, you mean to write "vBcaption", correct? :)
