vBslideshows questions

Hi

Before I purchase vBslideshow I would just like to clarify a few things:

1. This product will only pull the first image in a thread?

2. The image has to be in the vB attachments system?

If the answers to both questions are yes, could I create a forum purely for this which is hidden from members and guests, but the vBadvanced module will be viewable to guests, would the images show up?

3. Does this product resize larger images to fit the vBadvanced module size? For example from 800x600 down to 640x480 or to whatever the module size is set at?

4. Is there any way at all that this product can pull images from a directory on my server? If not could I pay extra for you to customize it to do this?

5. Where does it find the text that is displays on top of the images?

6. Can I disable or hide the Play/Pause and numbers bar for the images?

Has to be in attachments system and will follow vb permissions system. If user cannot view image in thread, then slideshow will display a broken image error

It does not resize. But if you use a large image, it will fit it.

Sorry, not possible. Completely different script is required

You set the maximum characters to pull from text in thread

no. But I have a much more powerful slideshow coming out this week, but it will be part of a major script and is fully configurable (around 150 options), can have as many as you want with different looks, can even create slideshows from threads from different forums.

Can i show different slideshow in different forums using a vbadvanced module.

like

One set of 5 links showup in Forum x
Other set of 5 links showup in Forum y

This way each forum will have different sets of slideshows based on the context of that forum... that would make this script rock!!

Currently you can have unlimited slideshows only with vBherald.
I am about to put out a major upgrade for vBmagazine, then I am planning to see if I could make vBslideshow more flexible.
