Product suggestion - Events

I did not know where to post the following suggestion so I figured it might be placed here and transferred to a better locatiojn afterwords. I apologize in advance if this is against the rules.

It seems that the native vb calendar is fairly week solution for posting events.

So I wanted to suggest the developers of this site to consider a facebook-like event management solution with 1-2 vBadvanced modules to deliver the information to the users. Was this modification to exist I would immediately acquire it. I am currently in great need of this type of events management system.

Would love to hear some type of a response.

It's better to post the login info due to some ajax features used in the facebook events, which are too hard to replicate using screen shots.

create an event and see how it works. Also add some people to RSVP list.

I am not a facebook person myself but had enough chances to observe my friends use this feature. It's very useful and has great potential. It's enough to see all the vortex happening around the Farcaster's RSVP Events mod on vb.org

I am too busy to explore this thing. It looks like some kind of invite system, which is easily done.

the only mod that I have in mind that will be calendar based (besides vBsports) will be vBcard, an ecard system that will use holidays and friends birthday.

Currently I have a mod that enable pictures upload in calendar.

I would love to have an event-management system. Meaning, where people can add events and have other users RSVP. In fact, I would pay for a custom one in the event a solution is not found. I run a lot of events off of my website but don't have a great system for RSVPs

Have you tried Farcaster's events system from vb.org? I never used it but sounds like what you are looking for.

I'm using a slightly modified version of it but it doesn't do what I need :(
