Hi,

I'm still thinking and thinking about buying vbcover or no. It seems prety nice, but there are few things that kinda stop me in my choice:

1. The price! I need to buy "today" vbocver bundle + vbslideshow...170$ and it's very expensive i think. There should be a price for both, or special discounts. I think 89$ for vbcover bundle would be more appropriated price, and will allow more people to buy it (and so money in your pocket, because it's betetr to have 10 person buying a software at 80$ than just 3 at 129$ don't you think? And the price is a big stop for me knowing i would need 2 vbcover bundle licence + 2 vbslideshow licences and later (like in one year) 1 more vbcover bundle licences + 2 other vbslideshow license... this price is to add to vbulletin licencex2 (360$) for the necessary ...wow  Do you plan to offer some discounts soon? change your price? or do you think the price is right like it is (and prefer 3 clients at 130$ than 10 at 90 :D?)

2. The other big thing (even more than the price) that stops me, is the fact that there is no special integration like i would like on vbadvanced. As simple integration and that's the main reason (price helps a lot too huh) why it stop me so much from buying it. I would like a simple left column with the last 5 articles, title, "read more" and little thumb, 2-3 lines (size of the cell), chose the lenght we want and high we want for the column...well like it looks on the followiung website http://www.virusphoto.com/ ... except that they use GARS with a simple mod for vbadvanced to do it...I know, you gonna tell me "go ask vbadvanced" but i think that's a free mod you should offer, like they did for gars, and not to us to ask to vbadvanced forum help to do the same for vbcover without even know if it's possible and having to wait 1 week between each answer (at least, because the forum is...dead when you ask help).

Except those 2 points, it seems almost perfect
But due to the price and this lock of mod for vbadvanced (im sure lot would love it) i hesitate with gars (that is less complete)

I agree with Coverman. I would have purchased this entire package last month but it's way too pricey for me. Please PM or Email me when/if you decide to run a special on your products.

I don't need the magazine but the other products look good. If the magazine was included in a package deal, I might just have it to tinker around with. I wouldn't run my entire site with it though (and maybe that's not even the purpose).

I'm already using photopost so I don't think slideshow is something I need. If the price was better on this product I might have just purchased it to have something extra.

Anyhow, like I said... If you decide to run a sale, please feel free to PM me or Email me. If the price is reasonable (for my pockets) I just might pick up the entire suite.

Thanks

Other products are sold separately from as low as 19.99Like I said... Please feel free to contact me when you decide to run a sale. It's possible you're in a position where you feel that the work and effort you put into your product isn't worth the price loss of a sale. Don't be stubborn, I honestly believe this product isn't flying off the shelves because of the high price. It's a nice product but it's also a very expensive one! Your package costs just as much as vBulletin itself!

You'll attract more people with more attractive prices. This is the only reason I have not purchased your product. You're charging Ferrari prices for a Honda product. Do you understand what I mean? Honda is a great car but it's not a Ferrari therefore why pay the Ferrari pricetag!

You are actually looking to pay a bicycle price for a Honda :-)
There are plenty of free mods at vb.org

There are plenty of free mods at vb.orgAbsolutely not true! All I'm suggesting is that if you lower your price you might gather more interest in your product via word of mouth by someone like me. But right now I feel your pricing is much too high therefore you neither have my money or my word of mouth. Not only that, but you don't have the exposure of your product on my website.

You can always start the pricing off lower to get the product going and increase the prices once the wheels are spinning (like the honda, not the tri-cycle ;)). It's quite obvious that the product is not selling; there is no feedback in the forums to indicate otherwise, other than people suggesting that you lower the price. People want your product but not at the cost associated with it. So what's the purpose?

By the way, I use quite a few of the freebies at vb.org. I also donate to the most useful ones.

Incidentally... I tried the demo copy of multithreads you sent over. It's a nice product. $20.00? eh... $15.00 Maybe. For $10.00 you would have had my money no questions asked. Maybe you don't need $10.00 but hey... 10 bux is 10 bux. Better than nothing which is what you have right now (at least of my $$$).

Or perhaps free?

In the 2 months that I opened up the store, I sold over 100 magazines and am very happy with that.

My products are meant for people who can afford them and whining and crying will not change prices. Hope that will close the matter.
