Hi,
I got lotso f presales questions, i hope you don't mind, i want to be sure to make the good choice.
1.I was surprised to see how look the articles... in the good sense and in the bad sense. In the bad sense because the fact that the text are not "justified" makes them look very ugly and like a mess (justify > like in office word, when there is no margin on the left and on the irght with space between words if necessary ...well like any articles). Is there this option includes? Do you plan to add it soon if it's not included? It's a main function for an articles mods....
2. I was checking "our magazines" and when i clicked on "submit articles" i daw a page i liked, with the graphics for each categories, and the name of the categories to acces the contents. Is it also like that for the viewing or does it look like that just to submit articles? I mean, if i click on my forum part "articles" my members will be front of a page like that with the graphics, the categories, chosing where they go etc.?
3. With vBadvanced i would like to do the following thing, can you tell me if it's possible to do it with your hack?
a) On vbadvanced homepage I will have a square 250x250 > under it a 250*X column where we can have a quick preview of The 5 or 10 last articles With a little thumbnail (more little than what i will show you); the title of the article on one line cut by "..." if it's too long; 4 first lines of the articles; "read more" link whiuch redirect directly to the good article (take a look here on the left column, to see what i want to reproduce with your hack...they use GARS www.virusphoto.com (http://www.virusphoto.com) )
b) On the second part of this homepage (about 600 - 650 width) put first the slidehow adapting exactly in width to that...can we modify his size as we want?
4. Is this hack highly customizable? can we set permissions for everything? chose to use one little thing and not another? integrate it the way we want in vbadvanced (do'nt want the way it looks on your magazines example, i just want toe left column the way i said)
5. Is there a rating system (that we can tur on and off and so chose to not display if we want of course ) to give a rate to an article?
6. Is there any infomations about the number of comments on an articles? like that http://www.thevbgeek.com/forumdisplay.php?f=43 not comment on author, i do'nt want, but number of comments on an articles.
7. In fact i would like something special don't know if this hack does that. My "forum" wil lbe in 3 - 4 catégories. One wil lbe reserved for articles. I would like that arriving on the forum we see only "articles" word, then you click on it> then it brings you to the choice of the category of the articles looking the same way (well i mean with an icon or graphics and the name, like on the submit articles page) > then one you chose your category you arrive on the page showing the list of al lthe articles the way it looks on GARS (don't know if vbcover does it) http://www.thevbgeek.com/forumdisplay.php?f=43 (with a little thumbnail we can put, the title we can click on, the X (4-5) first lines of the article with the read more stuff and under the number of comments (except if i chose to don't display it), the number of time it has been viewed, and the name of the author (no rating ot the author)

9. when we write an article, if we chose for example photo alternate, is there a way to put sometimes a photo noormally (not a thumb, a real photo)?
10. Can we mix all styles of articles? for example first part is alternate, then no photo, then align left, then in the middle a slideshow, then at the end lots of pictures thumbs?
11. Is there a french version of all the hacks? spanish version? or at least, is it necessary or is it just the admin cp in english?
