Does this work with VBSEO?

Can I see a few real live sites that are using this right now?

Are there any known issues with any vBulletin modifications?

Will this automatically replace my vbadvanced home page or can I set this up so users will only see it on pages I specify?

More questions to come! Thanks for answering.

working with VBSEO? leave that for Lionel
What vbcover's products that you would like to see a demo? You can view my site http://www.mediabynight.com
So far, only Chief first post hack will have trouble with vbcaption
It will not auto replace your vbadvanced homepage. You will have to manual change vbmagazine (as in the instruction, which I still have problem in figuring it out the forumpath???) to be your homepage. Otherwise, keep your vbadvance and bring out the slideshow (as you can see on my site) and vbmagazine (no instruction on how to bring them out on cmps)

Hope answered your questions.

Hello,

1-This displays actual vbulletin pages, except for the magazine.php main page, so if your pages currently work with vbseo, I see no reasons for them not to still do.
2-We have set some demos (http://www.vbcover.com/forums/demos.php?do=magazine), feel free to explore them. I can't display links to real sites without their owners authorization
3-The only problem that was reported was with "Chief First Post" and vbcaption. I asked the guy to change the execution order of that hack, he never got back to me,.
4-This can be set as your homepage if you want. But we think that vBadvanced is so cool and so flexible that we also incorporated some modules so you could use both.

fozo, only you have problems figuring out what your path is, this after I told you 10 times to use the same path that you currently use for vbadvanced.

As for using vbmagazine modules in vbadvanced, it is assumed that you know how to use vbadvanced.
And for your chief first post hack, I already told you to try to change the execution order, but it was too complicated for you to understand.
Finally, please let me answer the presales questions as you don't understand A to Z into anything!

I appreciate what you are doing. But to give me a hand, you have to be able to understand how things work!!

Lionel.. in order to understand how things work from a brand new product or huge product, we have to play around, getting errors, asking questions, seeking for help to answer the questions.

These are your very own products, no body understood them well as you do. And please do stop assuming everyone knows or already has any kind of HTML, CSS knowledge as you are. We're all learning from mistakes, Lionel.

for your products problems, I had been asking for your helps (not fixing the mess that I created after you installed everything for me) but about getting used to your products but I had to ask somewhere else.

for cmps, I made posts there but couldn't get a help. Again, I had to ask for help from another.

you are an expert coder/programmer, why don't you look at other users as of that they have no knowledge what so ever about coding?

I am so desperate and feeling sux when ever i have problem with your products. Not sure I should create a post here. When you create a such awesome product, you have to know that, there will be a massive questions about the products.

So, please say no more... just as I requested, please mass delete all my threads. I just love your products but not your supporting.

After I installed everything for you for free, you actually expected me to build your entire site, fixing your junk styles.
I don't mind answering massive questions about my products, but I can't and will not give you a tutorial on how to use vbulletin or vbadvanced, or html or css, specially with you it's not a simple matter of explaining something, it has to be hammered in your head. You even expected me to fix your host problems.

Furthermore, after I spent 6 hours on your site trying to help you, for free, you pay me back by going around and tell people that they will find no support, simply because you deleted everything that I left in excellent working order, and cannot follow simple instructions or expected me to go back and refix.

You are already being ignored by everyone on the other vb sites. Like you say all the time: please forgive my stupidityI am beginning to wonder.

I already got two complaints from customers about you harassing them. A third one and you will be banned.

There are two sides to every story. Thanks for the input between both of you.

I was hoping that maybe a few people could share their website links with me. I'd love to see what you've done with regards to this software. I'd like to see some live action, not the demo's which are not very flattering.

The software itself looks like a great idea that I might invest in. I won't do so without seeing the product running live. That's like buying a new car before driving it. I'm sure you understand.

Any future plans to eliminate the need to modify files. This can be a royal pain in the ass when it's vBulletin upgrade time and you find yourself having to modify files again.

I highly recommend the Templates Modifications System developed by a vbulletin programmer and available for free at vbulletin.org. With this mod installed, you never have to do a template edit anymore (at least with my mods). File edits are necessary sometimes as we are not provided with the needed hook locations
