Hi Lionel, Now that we're at +3 months from VB4 being released I was just wondering what sort of timescale to expect until i can use iReviews, vBHerald, vBSlideshow and vBmagazine, all excellent products that i'd like to use on vB4..:D

hi, 3 months and still very buggy.

I am currently doing vBhelp, then vBinterviews, then vBmagazine etc ...

All those products will have their own CSS (about 23 different ones) as I cannot rely on vb CSS

Hi Lionel, So still quite a way off then by the sounds of it? Shame as I could do with iReviews and especially the Magazine as we had a lot of subscribers for that..:(

Most products will be fairly easy to convert, except for iReviews and vBherald which are very complexed, so I will be living them for last.

vb just realeased 4.0.3 with more than 300 plus bugs fixed (so sice 4.0.0 until now, they had to fix more than 1000 bugs!), hopefully it will be stable enough for all the add ons to be updated to it.

Any news for vBMagazine ?
Same for vBslideshow (i've bought slideshowpro and made a widget, but it is very far from the quality of vbslideshow ^^)

you can make widget for slideshow. All you need is the html in adv_portal_flash_slideshow

Have not tested it, but it should work as it is just a flash html. Perhaps just changing to new {vb raw } format

I would also want to upgrade my website to VB4, but i rely on VBMagazine. So if you could please create and upgrade to your product soon that would be great. I am sure the demand is high, and loads of forums have gone to the new VB4 Platform. I think its great, but i cant use it because we love your product so much. Its like having to choose between kids. its not fair. please let us know on the upgrade asap. i'm even willing to pay a few extra bucks (reasonably of course).

The essentials to vBmagazine: vBattach, vBcaption and vBmultipages have been done and are about to be released in a day or two.

Thanks.

iCart 4.0 has been out in beta for a while and no one is reporting anything bad to me. All errors were configuration based. I just did not get a chance to take it out of beta.

While its fully functional, I probably will release all other items first before officially releasing it. This way I could have a nice demo.

Last night I put out 3 scripts conversion for 4.0 as announced in announcements forums. I am currently doing vBmagazine.

vBslideshow for 4.0 was also released last week.

All beta products are included with the last official release.
